Twitter users have slammed power couple Kim and Kanye West, after the unedited video of Kanye’s infamous phone call with singer, Taylor Swift was released today, four years after the incident happened.
In 2016, Kanye and Swift’s feud was reignited when Kanye released his controversial song Famous, which features the line ‘For all my Southside n***** that know me best. I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that b***h famous.’
After Taylor complained that she was not happy with the lyrics of the song, Kanye later claimed he had received permission from Taylor to use the line after he was bashed online, and his wife Kim Kardashian released a video that appeared to prove him Kanye was right with his claims .
In Kim’s video, Taylor can be heard telling the rapper: ‘I mean go with whatever line you think is better. It’s obviously very tongue in cheek either way,’ after he tells her the line: ‘For all my southside n***** that know me best, I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex.’
But many didn’t know the video was edited then, with fans criticizng Taylor Swift and some even calling her ‘snake’.
Fastforward to 2020, the unedited video has now been released, showing that Kanye never mentioned any line about ‘b*tch’ to Taylor Swift.
In the latest leaked video, Kanye tells Taylor the line will be ‘To all my Southside n*****s that know me best. I feel like Taylor Swift might owe me sex’.
Laughing, Taylor says: ‘That’s not mean!’ Kanye goes on to say: ‘If you felt it’s funny and cool and hip-hop and felt like just the college drop-out and Ye that you love, then people will be way into it.’ Taylor adds: ‘I mean, I need to think about it…because it is absolutely crazy.’
